Emergency Notice

The Kern County Public Works Mojave-Rosamond Landfill is closed today, June 8, 2024, due to a fire creating unsafe conditions for the public and County staff. We apologize for the inconvenience. The public can still access our nearest landfills from the Mojave-Rosamond area at the Tehachapi Landfill and the Boron Landfill.
